What if I told you that I have a secret that can help your students grow 20-40x faster?

My students pick up SO fast. It’s absolutely amazing. In just their first few months of taking class at my studio (Grooves Unlimited) they transform into a completely different dancer.
It's not by accident though…
It’s because of a very specific culture we’ve built and a very specific approach we’ve instilled into our Curriculum and weekly classes. And we have trained each of our Teachers on this.
“Scientists have discovered that it takes approximately 400 repetitions to create a new synapse in the brain, unless it is done in play, in which case it only takes 10 to 20 repetitions”
And that’s it you guys. This is the magic. This is why our Groovers pick up SO quickly.
Think about that for a moment… either 400 repetitions… or 10-20 repetitions… we’re talking 20-40x faster. That’s nothing to sneeze at, that is absolutely exponential.
I've always told people for years that what another studio can do for them in 20 hours of classes per week, we can do in 4 hours. Just give us 2 days a week, a couple hours each day, and you'll be transformed into a whole different dancer. And it’s true. These are the real results our Groovers are getting. And this is exactly why.
It’s play in the form of discovery. Discovery in the form of fun.
I go into great detail about this in my 99 iTapOnline™ Tap Teacher Training Program, but I’ll give you one of my top tips and tricks that absolutely transforms iTap Teacher’s classes from the first day they make this change.
It’s what I like to call, “Fill in the Blank” Style Teaching, and that means no more monologue-style teaching. You can quickly give your students the answers, or you can let them discover those answers for themselves. Allowing them to experience these realizations, rather than spoon feeding it to them, makes it play in the form of discovery and discovery in the form of fun.
. Instead of saying, “a shuffle goes up and a flap goes down”, ask them, “a shuffle goes ________”, and then ask them why? Then ask them, “a flap goes ______________” and then ask them why? Let them have these light bulb moments. And then tell them, “I want you to grab a friend and choreograph 16 counts, or 4 bars in 4/4 time that focuses on the difference between shuffles and flaps.”
The magic! I’m telling you… watch your classes transform. Your kids will up-level SO fast.
Many people mistaken FUN with lower level or lower quality education, and it’s just not true. Fun is the key that unlocks the doors of exponential growth.
